KNOCK KNOCK WHO’S THERE? How well is your business protected from the onslaught of Cyberattacks? It’s a tough question to answer. And one that many small business owners just aren’t qualified to answer. According to a report published by Vistage in 2018 called “Cyber threats and Solutions for Small and Midsize Businesses,” 62% of small businesses don’t have an up-to-date or active cybersecurity strategy in place. One reason is that many small businesses don’t have the time, personnel or skills to take on Cybersecurity.
Intech we trust. One of the lessons I was taught when I was a young tech guy making my way up the corporate ladder was a tech code of ethics. The rules were basic back then. They boiled down to this. As a person working in the tech field, we are responsible for people’s information and technology. People trust us with their business information and technology. We are the guardians.
Several years back when I first got into the tech consulting field a group of us wanted to figure out a way to explain tech to people in a way that made sense. We knew that talking tech to people didn’t work. And so, through some trial and error and a lot of customer feedback, we came up with 4 areas of tech that resonated with people.
