Engaging your community for help is awesome.
One would think that finding a video that demos the functions of a printer on YouTube or the manufacturers site would be easy to find.
But no such video existed.
Sure there were overview videos and commercials.
But no actual video tutorials of its key functions.
Heck, even the manuals were vague.
I’m talking HP, Xerox, Ricoh, Sharp.
I narrowed my printer search down to 2 printers.
So here I was trying to figure out how to get quickly locate one of the two printers.
I scanned across my database of client printers and found a client who just so happened to have one of the printers I was looking for.
So I gave them a call and explained my situation.
They were willing to help.
Not that I think they wouldn’t have helped.
It’s just cool to have a community of businesses that can help each other out when needed.
The client was even gracious enough to shoot a quick video demo of the printer on their mobile phone for me.
I was then able to share the video with the client that’s looking for a new printer to help aid in their decision process.
I love it when a plan comes together.
It’s all about community.
Thank you to my cool customer who saved the day!
