I was reading today about how so many of us approach new things from a position of fear rather than a position of trust.
When it comes to the tech in your business most people still buy from a position of fear.
Fear of the unknown.
What’s worse is that vendors sell to that fear.
Most vendors refer to is as identifying a prospects pain points.
And this just perpetuates a whole bad tech buying cycle.
To add to that.
When you buy something from a position of fear your increase your chance of failure.
Wouldn’t it be better if we approached our tech from a position of trust?
A well ran tech environment is something you can trust.
If you’re environment is reliable.
If your staff is productive.
Well then that would be something you could trust.
If more people had positive tech experiences I think they’d trust in tech more.
This in turn would open the door for people to leverage more tech in their business.
This would allow businesses to streamline their process.
To improve their productivity.
Automation is cool thing when you have it.
Being able to do more with less is a wonderful thing.
Shortening cycle time or delivery time is awesome.
By focusing on the positive instead of the fear we’re able to do more with the tech in our businesses.
