They say money can't buy happiness.
I'm not sure if that's true or not.
And maybe that's just a saying someone came up with to make poor people happy.
In my life I've been rich and I've been poor.
And here's the thing. In both situations I've been happy.
Understand that rich and poor can be defined subjectively and objectively and that my definition might be a little different than yours.
You can buy food.
You can buy goods and services.
You can buy almost anything with money.
And still, people with nice stuff aren't happy.
And even people with no money aren’t happy.
Which made me think - Maybe they're using the wrong currency?
Perhaps money isn't the only thing you need to buy happiness.
Gary Vaynerchuk said that positivity and optimism are a type of currency.
To me this makes a lot of sense.
It rings true.
If you want great relationships - positivity and optimism are your currency.
If you want success in your life - positivity and optimism are your currency.
And if you want a great burger you just need to put some cash down.
For now, it would seem that there are different types of happiness.
Make sure you know what type of currency you need for each one.
Now get out there and buy some happiness!
