How Google Drive Changed My Life

I started using computers a very long time ago.

That’s what we all say.

When I first started using computers I could store all of my files on a 3 1/2 inch floppy disk drive.

Times changed and I needed more space.

So I bought myself a Zip Drive.

I attached it to my computer and was good to go.

Time passed and I needed even more space.

So I bought an external hard drive.

The cycle continued year after year.

The yearly ritual of upgrading data storage device to keep up with my needs.

I was stuck.

I needed my data to be portable.

I needed access to it 24x7.

As a result - It was all drives all the time.

Constantly moving data from one device to another.

But then one day I made a decision.

I decided to go all in on cloud.

Enter Google Drive.

Flash forward to the present.

All of my data, files, music and pictures now live in the cloud.

I can access them from anywhere.

From my work computer, my laptop and my mobile device.

The drudgery and pain of moving from device to device is now a thing of the past.

Everything is in the cloud.

Accessible from anywhere.

If I get a new device - I simply connect it to the cloud and I’m back in business.

I am truly mobile.

If I know I’m not going to be near a good Internet connection.

I can use offline mode and take certain files offline so that I can work on them.

I am hardware free now when it comes to data storage.

Nothing to drop a break or break.

My data is safe and secure.

And I can sleep at night.

Yes, you could say that Google Drive change my life.
